PRIMARY APPLICATION:

all RVR changeover systems are equipped with an on-board telemetry unit (except the SCML1+1SL range) so that they guarantee utmost continuous service, exploiting not only the important automatic changeover function across main and spare transmitters but also with a remote control of the transmitter station (like any telemetry unit).

TELEMETRY FEATURES:

the operating principles of RVR changeover systems are mainly two: “1+1” where automatic changeover takes place across a main transmitter and a spare one, and “N+1” where automatic changeover takes place across many transmitters (up to 4 or 6 for SCM/6) and a spare one. RVR designs and manufactures other changeover/telemetry systems to be matched with the use of above-described changeover systems. These devices are specifically used for changeover and remote control of audio signals, electro mechanical signals and switchless systems (SCM-AUD, AUD6/1, SCMLCD1+1TCS, SCMLCD1 + 1SWL). HARDWARE FEATURES:

all RVR changeover/telemetry systems are housed in lightweight and rugged stainless steel rack cases having the dimension of 1 HE or 2 HE.

USER-FRIENDLY FEATURES:

the front panel features many leds that indicate instant system status to the operator. Moreover, for all production models, the user-friendly HMI with graphic display ensures prompt reading and setting up of all operating parameters. It is possible to control and vary any system setting through a simple knob (encoder).

EASE OF MAINTENANCE:

all RVR changeover systems are assembled using modules and boards with connectors so that it is easy to remove, replace and add modules and boards.

RELIABILITY/CONTINUITY:

all RVR changeover systems feature 24 V power connector that could be used in case of mains power failure.

INTERFACE CONTROL:

the rear panel features all connectors that could be used to connect the equipment to the various components of the station(s) (see technical specifications section). Please refer to the above Telemetry section for further details on telemetry system control.
